WHO WE ARE?
We are a small group of deer experts who use our talents and abilities to feed our hungry neighbors. We donate the harvested animal to an approved meat processor that participates with Feeding the Hungry donation programs. The meat is then distributed to local food banks, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, and other feeding ministries. Any and all fees associated with the meat processing is funded by Whitetail Wisdom to ensure no cost to the local centers we donate the venison to.

We are newlyweds! Any of our closest friends would describe us as the most purpose driven couple you’ll ever meet. I don’t know if we really hold that title, but we really try our best with all that we do. Whether that’s in our careers as fitness specialists, or managing whitetail deer, we do our best. Together we share our passion for the love of the outdoors and helping people. It really brings us great joy and pleasure bringing those two things together with Whitetail Wisdom. Being part of this special team, giving back to the homeless and the needy, has to be one of the most fulfilling experiences we’ve ever had the privilege of being part of. I truly believe whitetail wisdom is making a difference.
I’m happily married to my wife Mandy. We have 3 beautiful children together and they’re quite the handful! One of our family’s passions is giving back and paying it forward. Growing up hunting and fishing, I quickly found a passion I knew would be a life long tradition I would like to pass down to my kids and their kids. Being in the woods studying the whitetails for more than 20 years now, I would say I have learned a few things about how to manage a herd properly. Who would have thought, a hobby of chasing whitetails would turn into such a major contribution to society like it has through whitetail wisdom. I am proud to be recognized as one of the experts, I truly believe we are making a difference with what we’re doing.
I’m happily married to my beautiful wife Patricia. Together we have our son Jaden, who I have to admit, is our whole life! We’re really proud parents to say the least! What’s great about my son is he’s also my little hunting buddy. Doing this together has brought us so many incredible memories I wouldn’t trade for the world. It’s a real blessing to share that passion with my son. Studying, managing, and hunting whitetails has been a huge part of my life ever since I was a child. I can’t believe its now been over 30 years for me. I have to say this is a matter I honestly believe I know more about than any other topic on earth. It’s a real honor and privilege to be recognized as one of the whitetail wisdom experts. Being a Man of faith, I know using my skills as an outdoorsman to take care of my family and give back to the less fortunate is my true passion and purpose in life.
It’s crazy to think I’ve been chasing whitetails since 1975, which is over 40 years now. I have learned so much about proper whitetail deer management in 40 years and I can humbly say I’m an expert in this field. More specifically, I specialize in habitat management, which is crucial for a healthy deer herd to survive disease-free. Utilizing my skills as a habitat specialist and a whitetail deer expert, has given my family and me a great sense of contribution. Not only is our team at Whitetail Wisdom doing good for the environment, but we’re all giving back to the needy which is something I’m truly proud to be apart of.
HOW IT WORKS
With the growing number of houses, apartments, retail stores and shopping malls in the area, it’s causing negative ripple effects on deer in the surrounding regions. This forces the deer to live in smaller, more confined acreage and it’s putting the whitetail herds at serious risk. What typically happens is a mature, aggressive whitetail buck takes over these small areas forcing younger, less dominate bucks to leave these properties; resulting in limited gene pool variance, imbalance in buck to doe ratios, and of course an increase in deer related car accidents. One of our goals is to correct this, while staying 100% in accordance with the ODNR’s laws and regulations.
We Take Total Responsibility
We put in writing that once we step foot on the landowners property, we take responsibility for anything that at happens. In all of our years, we have never had a single incident that put anyone at risk, but if there ever was the landowner would not be responsible for anything.
WHY GIVE US PERMISSION?
If we are reaching out to you as a land owner, that’s not by accident or by chance. It’s because we have reason to believe your property could be holding one of these Mature whitetail bucks. In order to find out for sure, we use night vision motion sensor cameras to capture the deer during the day and at night to get the most accurate evaluation of the herd. These old bucks are very elusive. It’s possible you haven’t seen them. That doesn’t mean they are not there. Whatever we find we are happy to share.
1: You’re participating in giving back to the hungry, and without you this wouldn’t be possible.
2: As a land owner its very comforting knowing someone is looking after your property and keeping trespassers away.
3: It’s fun! Many land owners had no idea what actually lurked around at night. It’s always fun knowing what lives on your property.
